Follow our easy 8 tips to become an expert and make perfect cupcakes every time!

1. Never compromise on the quality

Invest in good quality ingredients! Using the best vanilla extract, butter and chocolate guarantees you will get excellent results!

2. Do not use cold ingredients

Your ingredients, especially eggs, butter and cream cheese need to be at room temperature, except when the recipe states the opposite.

3. Do not over-beat the batter

You need to mix ingredients until just combined. Over-mixing will ruin your cupcakes!

4. Preheat your oven

Preheating your oven is crucial to get those airy fluffy cupcakes. To be more precise, we recommend you use an oven thermometer.

5. Scoop the batter into cupcake liners

To make sure your cupcakes cook evenly, you need to make sure you are putting the same exact amount of batter inside each of the cupcake liners. Use an ice cream scoop and fill the liners 2/3 of the way full.

6. Remove cupcakes from pan immediately

After removing your cupcakes from the oven, the heat from the pan might cause them to over-cook and even burn, and we don’t want burnt cupcakes! Remove to a wire rack and leave them to cool completely before frosting.

7. Prepare your buttercream

To prepare the buttercream: beat 1 cup of butter at room temperature, ¼ can of Nestle Sweetened Condensed Milk (100 g) and ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract using an electrical mixer on medium speed for 6 minutes or until the color turns to white. You can add any food coloring you want.

8. Decorate and store your cupcakes

Decorate your cupcakes using piping bags or knives, making sure to cover all top with icing to prevent them from drying, and then store them at room temperature for up to 2 days if frosted, or in the fridge for up to 5 days if unfrosted.
