From the kitchen you will need

  • Nestlé® Sweetened Condensed Milk 397g 1 tin
  • Nescafé® Instant Coffee 1 teaspoon
  • Egyptian Rice 65 g
  • Vanilla Powder 1 teaspoon
  • Liquid Whipping Cream 375 ml
  • Eggs 2 no.s
  • Water 250 ml
  • Raisins 40 g

Step by Step

Step

  • In a pot, boil rice with a litre of boiling water for 12 to 14 minutes until rice is well cooked. Drain and set aside.

  • In a bowl, stir together Nestlé® Sweetened Condensed Milk, vanilla powder, liquid cream, eggs, water, Nescafé® Instant Coffee and raisins, then add the cooked rice.
  • Pour liquid mixture into ovenproof baking cups.
  • Cooking Tip: Try to place the same quantity of rice and sultanas in each cup. Place cups in a roasting pan which has enough hot water to come halfway up the side of the cups.

  • Bake in a 160°C oven for 40 to 45 minutes.
  • Serve cold.
  • Serving Tip: Serve with whipped cream on top of each cup sprinkled with icing sugar.
