From the kitchen you will need

  • Nestlé® Sweetened Condensed Milk 397g 1 tin
  • Butter 150 g
  • Lemon Juice 3 tablespoons
  • Flour 250 g
  • Baking Powder 1 teaspoon
  • Baking Soda 1 teaspoon
  • Salt ¼ teaspoon
  • Bananas (mashed) 3 pieces
  • Walnuts (chopped) 75 g
  • Eggs 4
  • Vanilla Extract 1 teaspoon

Step by Step

  • Beat butter for 2-3 minutes and add eggs one by one until well combined.
  • Add vanilla, lemon juice and Nestlé® Sweetened Condensed Milk in a bowl then mix to combine all together. Scrape the sides of the bowl with a spatula to ensure all is mixed.

  • Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt over the mixture and mix until it is well combined.
  • Fold the mashed bananas and chopped walnuts into the batter and pour into a greased and floured 23x28cm baking pan, or equivalent.
  • Bake in a 190°C preheated oven for 35-40 minutes or until a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean. Remove from the oven and set aside to cool.
