Date Cheesecake

From Nestlé® you will need

Nestlé® Sweetened Condensed Milk 370g

From the kitchen you will need

  • For the crust:
  • Biscuits (Digestive or Tea) 250-g 1 cup
  • Butter 15-g 1 tablespoon
  • Water 15-g 1 tablespoon
  • For the cream filling:
  • Nestlé® Sweetened Condensed Milk 370g 1 tin
  • Cream Cheese 2 cups
  • Vanilla Extract 1 teaspoon
  • Gelatin Powder 1.5 tablespoons
  • Hot water 1 cup
  • Dried dates 1 cup, 200 g, seeded and chopped
  • Date Syrup (for garnish ) 50-g

Step by Step

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the biscuit crumbs, butter, and water, and mix everything until well combined. Press the biscuit mixture over the base of a 20-cm loose-bottom cake pan. Place it in the fridge.

  • Beat cream cheese and Nestlé® Sweetened Condensed Milk in an electrical mixer or with the hand until the mixture becomes smooth or. Fold in the dates.

  • Sprinkle gelatin over hot water, mix well to dissolve it, and add it to the cream cheese mixture, stirring constantly.

  • Pour the cream cheese mixture into the prepared base. Place in the fridge for 3 hours, or until the cheese mixture becomes firm, it is ideal to leave it overnight.

  • Drizzle date syrup on top of it. Garnish with date pieces
