From the kitchen you will need

  • Nestlé® Sweetened Condensed Milk 395 g 0.75 tin
  • All-purpose flour 1.25 cups
  • Baking Powder 0.75 teaspoon
  • Salt 0.5 teaspoon
  • Butter (softened) 1 cup
  • Sugar 0.5 cup
  • Eggs 3 pieces
  • Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon zest, grated 1 tablespoon
  • Lemon Juice 1 tablespoon
  • For lemon sauce:
  • Lemon Juice 4 teaspoon
  • Nestlé® Sweetened Condensed Milk 395 g 0.25 tin
  • Lemon zest, for decoration 2 g

Step by Step

  • Preheat oven to 180° C and place rack inside
  • Line a 20*10 cm rectangular cake mould with parchment paper
  • On a parchment paper, sift flour, baking powder and salt
  • In a mixing bowl, beat butter and sugar on medium speed for 3 minutes. Add the eggs gradually while whisking then pour vanilla extract, lemon zest and lemon juice
  • Add Nestlé® Sweetened Condensed Milk and whisk until well combined. Fold in the flour mixture

  • Pour cake mixture in the mold, bake and leave aside to cool completely

  • For lemon sauce
  • Stir Nestlé® Sweetened Condensed Milk with lemon juice for 2 minutes until the mixture thickens like a sauce. Spread it over the cake then decorate with lemon zest
