Berry Crisp Ice Cream

From Nestlé® you will need

Nestlé® Sweetened Condensed Milk 370g

From the kitchen you will need

  • Nestlé Sweetened Condensed Milk (397 g) 1 can
  • cold heavy whipping cream (480 ml) 2 cups
  • vanilla extract 1 tsp
  • salt ¼ tsp
  • mixed berries (fresh or frozen: strawberries, blueberries, raspberry) 2 cups
  • rolled oats ½ cup
  • cinnamon ¼ tsp
  • cold butter 4 tbsp

Step by Step

1

  • Combine oats, cinnamon, in a bowl. Rub in the butter with fingers until crumbly.

Step

  • Spread on a baking tray and bake at 175°C for 12–15 minutes or until golden. Cool until crisp.

  • Whip the heavy cream to soft–medium peaks.

  • In a second bowl, combine: Nestlé Sweetened Condensed, vanilla, salt Gently fold the whipped cream into the condensed milk mixture.

  • In a loaf pan or container, layer: Ice cream base, Spoon full of berry compote Sprinkle of crisp topping

  • Repeat layers and swirl gently with a knife (don’t over‑mix).
  • Freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight.
