Caramel Birthday Cake

From Nestlé® you will need

Nestle® Squeezy Caramel Dulce De Leche 450g

Nestlé® Sweetened Condensed Milk 370g

From the kitchen you will need

  • Nestlé® Sweetened Condensed Milk ½ cup
  • all-purpose flour 2 cups
  • baking powder 1½ tsp
  • baking soda ½ tsp
  • Pinch of salt
  • unsalted butter (softened) ½ cup
  • sugar ¾ cup
  • large eggs 3
  • vanilla extract 1 tsp
  • milk ½ cup
  • For the Frosting:
  • Nestlé squeezy Caramel Condensed Milk ½ cup
  • unsalted butter ½ cup
  • icing sugar ½ cup
  • Pinch of salt

Step by Step

  • Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease and line a round cake pan.

  • In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

  • In another bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla.

  • Mix in Nestlé® Sweetened Condensed Milk

  • Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk until smooth.

  • Pour batter into the pan and bake for 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

  • Cool completely before frosting.

Make Caramel Frosting:
  • Beat butter until creamy.
  • Add Nestlé Caramel Condensed Milk and mix well.
  • Gradually add icing sugar and a pinch of salt until smooth and spreadable.
  • Spread frosting over cooled cake.
  • Drizzle extra caramel and garnish with nuts if desired.
