Chocolate Lava Mousse

From the kitchen you will need
- (370g) Nestlé® Sweetened Condensed Milk 1 tin
- dark chocolate (about 170g), chopped 1 cup
- (60ml) heavy cream cup
- large eggs 2
- vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
- A pinch of salt

In a heatproof bowl, combine the chopped dark chocolate and heavy cream. Melt the chocolate using a microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth. Alternatively, you can melt it over a double boiler.

Once the chocolate is melted and smooth, stir in the Nestlé® Sweetened Condensed Milk until well combined.

Allow the chocolate mixture to cool slightly. Then, add the eggs, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Whisk until the mixture is smooth and well combined.

Cover the bowl and refrigerate the mixture for about 30 minutes to allow it to thicken slightly.

While the mixture is chilling, prepare your serving dishes (ramekins or small cups) by lightly greasing them with butter or non-stick spray.

Once the mixture has thickened, pour it into the prepared serving dishes, filling them about 3/4 full.

Preheat your oven to (175°C). Place the filled dishes on a baking tray and bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set, but the center is still soft.

Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. The centers will remain gooey. Serve warm, optionally topped with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.
