Date Sticky Toffee Pudding

From Nestlé® you will need

Nestlé® Sweetened Condensed Milk 370g

Nestlé® Caramelized Sweetened Condensed Milk 397g

From the kitchen you will need

  • For the pudding:
  • chopped dates 1 cup
  • hot water 1 cup
  • baking soda 1 tsp
  • softened butter ½ cup
  • brown sugar ½ cup
  • large eggs 2
  • all‑purpose flour 1 cup
  • baking powder 1 tsp
  • Nestlé sweetened condensed milk ¼ cup
  • Nestle Squeezy Caramel
  • vanilla extract ½ tsp
  • For the toffee sauce
  • butter ½ cup
  • brown sugar ½ cup
  • Nestlé sweetened condensed milk ½ cup
  • cream ½ cup
  • vanilla extract ½ tsp

  • Combine dates, hot water, and baking soda. Let sit 10 minutes until soft, then mash lightly.

  • In a bowl mix Cream butter, brown sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, then vanilla. Mix in Nestlé condensed milk.

  • Fold in flour and baking powder. Add the softened date mixture (including liquid).

  • Pour into a greased baking dish. Bake at 180°C for 25–30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.

Toffee sauce preparation:
  • Over medium heat, Melt butter in a saucepan.
  • Add brown sugar and stir until dissolved.
  • Add Nestlé condensed milk and cream simmer for 3–4 minutes until glossy.
  • Stir in vanilla.

OR we can use :
  • Nestlé Caramel Sweetened Condensed Milkheat 200-g in a saucepan over medium heat and use it as toffee caramel sauce

  • Poke holes in the warm pudding. Pour half the toffee sauce over it to soak.

  • Serve with the remaining sauce on top
