Gourmet Chocolate Cake

From Nestlé® you will need

Nestle® Squeezy Caramel Dulce De Leche 450g

Nestlé® Sweetened Condensed Milk 370g

From the kitchen you will need

  • Nestlé® Sweetened Condensed Milk ½ cup
  • Butter 100 g
  • Water 225 ml
  • Vanilla Extract 2 teaspoons
  • Flour 200 g
  • large Eggs 2
  • Cocoa Powder 1 cup
  • Baking Powder 1 tablespoon
  • Baking Soda 1 teaspoon
  • Salt ¼ teaspoon
  • Yoghurt 1 tablespoon
  • For the topping:
  • Chocolate Nestlé Squeezy 200 g
  • Nestlé Cream 1 tin

Step by Step

  • Combine Nestlé Sweetened Condensed Milk, melted butter, water and vanilla essence in a large bowl.
  • Sift together the flour, cocoa, baking powder, and baking soda.
  • Stir the dry ingredients into the condensed milk mixture until combined.

  • Pour the mixture into a lined 23cm spring from cake tin.
  • Bake in a preheated 175C oven for 45 minutes or until a cake skewer inserted into the Centre of the cake comes out clean.
  • Cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes then remove from tin and cool completely.

For the topping:
  • Warm Chocolate Squeezy + Nestlé Cream to create a truffle glaze.
  • Pour over cake and let set for a smooth “celebration” finish.
