Rose Milk Cake Recipe

From Nestlé® you will need

Nestlé® Sweetened Condensed Milk 370g

From the kitchen you will need

  • For the cake:
  • large eggs 3
  • sugar ½ cup
  • all‑purpose flour 1 cup
  • baking powder 1 tsp
  • milk ½ cup
  • melted butter or oil 2 tbsp
  • rose essence 1 tsp
  • A few drops pink food color
  • For the rose milk soak:
  • milk 1 cup
  • 370g <strong>Nestlé® Sweetened Condensed Milk</strong> 1 tin
  • rose water ½ tsp
  • For topping:
  • Whipping cream 200-250 g
  • Dried rose petals

Step by Step

  • Preheat oven to 180°C.

  • Beat eggs, sugar until pale and fluffy. Add milk, melted butter, rose essence, and food color.

  • Sift in flour, baking powder, and fold gently. Pour into a greased square or round pan.

  • Bake 20–25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

  • Mix milk, Nestlé condensed milk, rose water

  • While the cake is warm, poke holes all over with a fork. Slowly pour the rose milk mixture over the cake.

  • Let it absorb fully, then refrigerate at least 2 hours

  • Spread a layer of whipped cream rose petals. And serve
