From the kitchen you will need
- semolina (sooji/rava) – fine 1 cup
- ghee 4 tbsp
- Nestlé Sweetened Condensed Milk 1 cup
- water 1.5 cups
- milk ½ cup
- cardamom powder ¼ tsp
- chopped nuts (almond, pistachio, cashew) 2 tbsp
- raisins 2 tbsp

In a saucepan, combine: 2 cups water, 1 cup Nestlé Sweetened Condensed Milk. Heat on low until well mixed; do not boil, Set aside.

In a heavy pan, heat 4 tbsp ghee. Add 1 cup of sooji. Roast on medium–low heat for 6–8 minutes.

Slowly pour the warm, condensed milk mixture into the roasted sooji while stirring constantly.

Cook on medium heat, stirring, until: Halawa thickens Ghee starts to separate Mixture leaves the sides of the pan (about 5–7 minutes).

Add cardamom powder and mix. Garnish with chopped nuts. Serve warm.
